Senior Surveyor / Associate

Property Asset Management – Commercial

An established firm of Chartered Surveyors, with a focus on providing Property and Asset Management services to our clients, is seeking an ambitious individual to join our team. Potentially the individual could be from a larger company, wanting to be able to use that expertise and experience whilst being able to make their own mark, within a smaller, more flexible company.

Having been established for 25+ years we are seeking someone looking to potentially become an integral part of our business during a period of expansion. Looking after some of our key clients, this role will be a varied and busy role, reporting to the head of the property asset management team.

You will be responsible for pure day to day property management. The major focus will be service charge budgeting, managing contractors, applications for licences (assignments, alterations etc), client reporting, monitoring rent collections and controlling arrears. You will be responsible for tenant liaison and property inspections, ensuring property compliance and health and safety is up to date. Some of our clients require an element of Asset Management, so this role could be ideal for someone seeking some Asset Management experience.

The individual will be responsible for the property asset management of a portfolio with a rent roll of £20m+, across a varied portfolio of clients. The majority of the portfolio is located in London, but there will be a requirement for travel across England to other sites managed as appropriate.

Package £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Plus discretionary annual bonus, health cover, pension, life assurance, 25 days annual leave

  •  You will ideally be RICS qualified with at least 3 years PQE in a commercial surveying role, although we would also encourage candidates without RICS who have relevant commercial management experience to apply.
  •  As a successful surveyor, you will have excellent communication skills to develop and build client and tenant relationships.
  •  You will be a highly organised individual, who has an attention for detail.
  •  Be able to manage multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines.
