Planner/Senior Planner (West Sussex)

A great opportunity has arisen for a chartered planner or Senior Planner to join an expanding consultancy in West Sussex. This firm are a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering a good variety of work and plenty of autonomy which would offer very good progression. This firm are independently run and the office has a really friendly and supportive environment. You will be working under a very experienced team with an established client base.

We are looking for candidates who are MRTPI qualified and who are currently operating at planner level or fairly new to the senior planner level (likely to have around 2 - 5 years' experience). For an exceptional candidate, we may also consider those who are working towards their MRTPI as long as at least 12 months is completed. Candidates will ideally have some consultancy experience but a large amount of the work is development management based so those working in DM for a nearby council would also be of interest. The team are very keen to appoint someone with local planning experience, therefore we cannot consider relocators for this role. The team work on a mix of residential, mixed-use, rural, institutional and some commercial schemes. We are ideally looking for a generalist to be able to service all of these types of work.
