Property Manager

Property Manager - up to £28,000 plus discretionary bonus

A global leader in the Property industry with an international network of offices and a reputation for being the best are looking for a Property Manager to join it’s busy Lettings team in Fulham. 

The main purpose of the role is to ensure Landlords and Tenants receive an effective, customer focused property management service during their tenancy. You will work closely with the centralized property manager (CPM) for the office, acting as their ‘eyes and ears’ on the ground in respect of the management and maintenance of our clients’ properties.

Key responsibilities of the Property Manager include: 

• Checking and preparing properties for new tenancies
• Ensuring all properties have a valid Gas Safety, EICR and PAT 
• Arranging pre tenancy works in relation to special clauses agreed at offer point and ensuring timely completion
• Arranging the inventory and check in
• Preparing management information forms 
• Preparing welcome packs and meeting new tenants at the start of the tenancy
• Overseeing any snagging issues at the beginning of the tenancy
• Carrying out mid term property visits, preparing mid term reports 
• Managing end of tenancy matters 
• Liaising with the CPM in regards to the return of the deposit, obtaining dilapidation quotes and working jointly to close the tenancy in an efficient manner

The ideal Property Manager will:

• Have at least 18 months experience as a Property Manager
• Be an excellent team worker with a flexible approach to work.
• Ideally be ARLA licensed/achieved the NFOPP Technical Award.
• Have excellent IT skills, including Excel, Power Point, Word.
• Have an ability to multi-task, be adaptable and a good team player.
• Possess a strong service “ethic” and have excellent written and communication skills.
• Have the ability to work effectively in a busy environment as part of a team.
• Have strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Be happy to take the initiative and have confidence in dealing with clients.
