Your new company

A highly successful public sector organisation is looking for someone with experience in the housing sector to join their busy team. Working on the planned and cyclical maintenance programmes you will be part of a team that ensure the delivery of projects against time frame and budgets is achieved to a good standard.

Your new role

You will be working on a range of building projects to domestic homes, liaising closely with other departments and pm's, providing project updates, giving technical advice and support on defects, repair issues, site visits to inspect work, monitoring the work of contractors and in-house maintenance team. There is also an element of settling final accounts, contractual disputes and extensions of time etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong technical background in construction and repairs, will have managed projects preferably in a housing or council organisation, your H&S knowledge will be extensive, and you will be familiar with working to achieve project completion in line with budgets. Your will be fully up with building /CDM regs and construction law in the housing sector.
