Financial Controller @ Property Finance Co

RealRec is delighted to be working with a highly respected, rapidly growing bridging and development lender in London.

On their behalf, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Finance Controller to join their successful and well respected team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be an integral part of a very ambitious, hardworking and forward thinking company, where you can grow and develop with them. You will be responsible for the financial wellbeing of the business.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Implement financial reporting system to comply with industry standards, and government regulations
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure proper compliance to regulations
- Review financial data regularly to identify cost reduction/revenue increasing opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationship with stakeholders including banks, auditors, HMRC, 3rd party service providers, etc
- Present financial reports to board members, executives and staff
- Minimize financial risk
- Produce payroll for all non-Executive members
- Oversee the day to day running of the department
- Track the company's financial performance and identify areas for potential improvement
- Motivate and lead Finance team
- Suggest and implement updates for accounting, payroll and invoicing systems
- Attend meetings as and when required as a deputy for the Finance Director

Requirements:

- Several years of experience in a business or finance environment, preferably in the property lending industry
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Management experience and leadership skills
- Interpersonal skills
- High written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organisational skills
- Research and analytical skills
- Understanding of data privacy standards and financial services industry.

Our client are offering a very competitive salary package circa £60k - £70k + generous package. Please note we would consider more for outstanding candidates.
