Retail Project Manager
Our client is a retail brand with presence across Europe. A Retail Project Manager is required to lead the program of store fit out projects in multiple markets working from the London office.
Our client has a portfolio of standalone stores and sell from various shop-in-shops and concessions all across Europe. This role is to be responsible for planning the project programme, coordinating the whole process and effectively managing the external local Project Management teams in Country to deliver a program of multiple retail fit out projects across the EMEA region. This will include:-
- Managing quotes for work and tendering projects
- Appointing and managing contractors
- Overseeing the process of multiple projects and ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
- Ensuring that our Project Managers, Furniture Suppliers and Architects are working together to ensure the projects are completed in a timely manner
As well as resource planning and contractor management the success of this role requires an ability to manage and communicate effectively with the various internal stakeholders within the business.
To be considered you will have good knowledge and experience of project and programme management in a retail environment. A Prince 2 or APM qualification would be an advantage. Strong organisational and communication skills are required and good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures. Any additional languages are a bonus.
