Our client is one of the UK’s best respected property developers and they are instrumental in promoting positive change throughout their world class developments. Their latest scheme will be their biggest yet and will create a world class town centre for residents, businesses, workers and visitors. This will require the latest thinking on leisure, retail, arts & culture, temporary uses and events and will be instrumental in promoting positive change going forward. There will be significant opportunity to develop outdoor sport and play facilities with emphasis on participation to deliver world class facilities to service both locals and visitors and allow health & well-being to be at heart of the estate.

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual, with strong strategic and Asset Management experience to lead the content and activation of the estate. Candidates will be required to articulate the vision, strategy and content plan and public realm that will deliver a sustainable and vibrant new town centre. Responsibilities include preparing and seeking approvals for the business and management plan, inception of discussions with partners, tenants and negotiation of lease/licence arrangements, work closely with the development and marketing teams to curate and coordinate and deliver events, community activities, F&B, leisure, co-working and social infrastructure. Develop and deliver a temporary use strategy that evolves into a successful permanent town centre ad work closely with the Development Managers as well as the banking and capital markets team.

The successful candidate should have:

• A proven ability to create places/deliver content from early on in the development process, with a focus on long term successful outcomes
• Experience of masterplanning/development alongside management of standing assets/investments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to ‘sell’ in a credible and authentic manner to senior corporate executives
• A demonstrable interest in and understanding of the latest thinking on social infrastructure and the creation of places
• Experience of Asset and Property Management of built office developments, in order to knowledgeably inform building design and specifications and lease terms
• Ability to present and report to senior executives both in person and via board reports, etc
• Resilience, persistence and a determination to succeed
