Job Details
One of the UK's largest Housing Associations is looking for a temporary Sales Manager to cover maternity leave.
You will split your time between head office in Central London and between the site in East London.
As a Sales Manager you will be based on site and expected to drive sales on the busy scheme along with managing a team of 2 experienced Sales Consultants.
Requirements
As a New Homes Sales Manager, you will be responsible for looking after one development, handling pre-construction marketing activities, conducting viewings and subsequently agreeing sales, as well as identifying new business opportunities and maintaining a close working relationship with all parties involved in the sales progression process.
The Responsibilities of a New Homes Sales Manager:
- Liaising with agents to decided who will market new build properties
- Exceeding targets set by group directors
- Managing 2 Sales Negotiators
- Service existing clients and create a good working relationship
- Team Development
- Financial Control & Administration Systems
- Communication and Support
- Keeping up-to-date with current market trends, local knowledge and competitor activity
- Drive sales, inventing ideas for new selling techniques
- Managing development launches
- Work closely with the marketing team
- Carry out weekly reports and report back to the Sales Director
- Providing weekly sales figures
The ideal New Homes Sales Manager should:
- Have at least 2 - 3 years experience working within New Homes Sales and Management
- Ideally have worked for a housing association before
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Have proven experience managing a team
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Be a great team player
- Be self-motivated, determined
- Represent the developers brand to the highest of standards
