Chartered Building Surveyor

Your new company

My client, a professional consultancy who specialise in Residential/Commercial valuations, RICS Homebuyer Surveys and Building Surveys is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor (MRICS) on a temporary basis with the intention to go permanent. This new appointment is due to an influx of work and projects being taken on. Clients will include: private individuals, high street banks, local/national businesses, property developer, estate agents and legal professionals.

Your new role

You will be required to inspect and provide reports on a number of different jobs, including but not limited to: party wall, dilapidations, building surveys, project monitoring, project management, schedule of conditions, license to Alters and Expert Witness. You will maintain strong relationships with their existing clients and making sure all expectations are met as well as liaising with new clients to bring on new work to assist with the growth of the company. You will provide accurate and appropriately priced quotes to new and existing clients within the required timescales.

What you'll need to succeed

• Chartership is essential (MRICS)
• You will have experience in a similar role for a similar organisation
• Consultancy, private work experience is essential
• Good stakeholder communication
