London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is seeking a Head of Development to lead and provide strategic advice on the planning, delivery and implementation of specific property development projects, which deliver the Legacy Corporation's business plan objectives and long-term regeneration vision. Providing senior level support to the Director of Development, you will directly line manage a small team of Senior Development Managers, Development Managers and/or Project Support. You will also manage and co-ordinate project teams, comprising both internal colleagues from other specialist disciplines and external consultants and advisors.

You will directly lead and manage the delivery of specific large, complex and politically sensitive development projects. From feasibility stage through to business planning, masterplanning, procurement and implementation, acting as Project Sponsor, to ensure viable, vibrant and sustainable mixed-use neighbourhoods. You will also directly manage relationships with stakeholders and joint venture partners and have the ability to pre-empt any challenges, be the "eyes and ears" keeping very close to each project. In addition you will be a strong communicator and have excellent report writing skills.
To be considered, ideally you will have a degree level qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. Surveying, Estate Management, Project Management and ideally a professional membership of appropriate body, e.g. RICS, or equivalent by experience. You will have a demonstrable track record in managing large and complex projects including property development, regeneration and/or infrastructure projects across commercial / residential / arts and leisure.
