An opportunity exists for an experience construction manager to join a large, reputable developer responsible to management of several phases on a large regeneration project in central London.

Client Details

My client is a large national property developer based in London and working on a large regeneration project in Central/SW. The project will be a mixed use high end commercail/residential and some industrial.

Description

  • To oversee the construction operations of one or more contractors on site.
  • To oversee the quality of the contractor's work and ensure compliance with specification.
  • To manage the technical, cost and build programme for projects, and report on progress
  • To manage supply chain and procurement protocols for build
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with key regional stakeholders, including supply chain and resolving potential disputes
  • To administer and approve building costs, budgets and cash flows in line with business authorisation levels and in partnership with Regional Finance
  • To maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations.
  • To manage the legal administration for construction contractors and step down of obligations from development agreements

    • Profile

    • Relevant degree (ideally Masters) and chartered with a recognised professional body
    • Chartered with a professionally recognised organisation associated with land delivery
    • A track record of successfully managing a multi-disciplined team
    • A track record of managing multiple projects of varying complexities including technical, legal and financial
    • Strong professional network
