Clientside position - Real Estate Propco

FM Services, Procurement Management of Asset Portfolio

An excellent client-side career opportunity with a highly reputable Real Estate Propco has presented itself for an ambitious Senior Procurement Manager to be responsible for managing the Group Asset portfolio that they operate and control across the UK & Europe.

The Group Procurement Manager is an important member of the operational team, responsible for overseeing all procurement and management services and supplies and managing operational costs across all the brands and integral to the success of their business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive best value and cost savings with all supplier, vendors and hard and soft services across the all the company.
  • Communicate and influence Suppliers to provide best value and high levels of service.
  • Maintaining balance between driving value and cost whilst maintianing positive working relationships with Suppliers that are mutually beneficial.
  • Track and record key metrics, analyse and interrogate numbers to improve costs.
  • Perform risk management for all current and future supply contracts and agreements, ensuring they are robust and efficient.
  • Control spend and create a culture of sustainable saving on procurement costs across the business and operations.

Experience and Skills:

  • Degree qualified with extensive experience of cost management and procuring supplies.
  • Membership of CIPS desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement and managing a large supply chain network ideally in a Blue-chip environment. E.G Hotel, FMCG
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge and negotiate best deals.
  • Entrepreneurial and ability to work within a fast pace, commercial work environment.
  • Collaborative team-player, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Highly numerate and demonstrates strong commercial acument.
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritise tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
