Investment Analyst - Real Estate

A leading pan-European Investment Management business with over £8bn AUM. They are looking for an Investment Analyst to join their expanding Investment team covering both the UK and Europe. You will work closely with the Directors of the team and have full exposure to the deal lifecycle.

They invest across office, retail and industrial properties and are very dynamic in their approach which has allowed them to sustain this continued growth.

The role will be responsible for supporting of all aspects of the acquisitions team which is focused on the sourcing, pricing and execution of investment deals across Europe and UK. Candidates will be given the opportunity to work across sectors, risk profiles and markets in order to deliver acquisitions aligned with the company’s investment strategies for both new and existing vehicles.

Key duties include:

• Assist in evaluation of potential investment opportunities
• Create and maintain investment models looking at returns, IRR forecasts, cash flow analysis
• Work with investment agents and European teams to source new deals
• Conduct market research to determine investment yields and estimate rental values
• Work with due diligence partners including lawyers, technical surveyors and environmental consultants to deliver timely and accurate reports, and identify and find solutions to issues as they arise
• Meet with and present to investors and lenders, handling queries relating to the business plans per asset, underwriting and local market dynamics
• Make informed recommendations on potential acquisitions and investment strategies across all asset classes
• Draft presentations and investment committee papers for new acquisitions
• Liaise effectively and professionally with teams within the company, including the CEO and Partners, Investment Management team and Debt team.
