A brand new unique senior asset management job opportunity to join a growing niche property company who continue to invest into the UK & EMEA Markets.
Your new company
This is a brand new opportunity to join an independent real estate investment company who specialise in UK & International property investments. This growing company identify and deliver real estate investments that provide healthy and attractive yields, the business currently has in excess of £500m under management with over £2nb invested. The firm operate in an opportunistic manner acquiring; retail, office, industrial and student accommodation, these are the key areas of investment for their capital partners.
The Senior Asset Manager will lead on the management of the current UK and Continental European portfolio.
Your new role
As a senior asset manager, the company will require the successful surveyor to lead the asset management of a mixed use diverse international property portfolio. There will be team management responsibilities with direct reports who will assist with the day to day asset management, acquisition and disposal instructions, formulating and identifying business plans for each asset.
The position will require a surveyor with strong investor relations skills, the ability to independently negotiate and have a strong understanding of structured financing options, operational budgets and capital expenditures. A working understanding of debt restructuring and experience of negotiating with banks when re-positioning assets is desirable.
What you'll need to succeed
MRICS - Essential 5 - 10 years PQE
It's important that the individual has the ability to perform with passion, precision and perseverance. The role will require an experienced commercial asset manager with UK & European investment and management experience along with client facing negotiation skills. Team management or people management skills along with European languages are desirable but not essential
The role may require international travel.
