Senior Quantity Surveyor, North West, Residential Developer - c£55,000 - £60,000

About the Client

My clients is an award winning, successful and expanding housebuilder with an enviable reputation for producing homes with flair, panache and quality. Based in Cheshire they are looking to expand their commercial department due to growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for a number of new housing schemes across the region.  As part of the Commercial Team you will deliver profitability for the region through contractor procurement, cost planning and control, and general commercial input through the private development process.

Duties Include:

• Increasing trade contractor base
• Pre-planning of new sites
• Cost planning
• Monitoring and controlling build costs.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will be an existing Senior Surveyor looking for a fresh challenge or an existing  Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step up. Experience of working in the housebuilding industry is essential.

• Flexible – able to work at all levels and at hands on level
• Proven written communication skills
• Excellent level of numeracy
• Computer literate in MS Office
