Salary:                  £47,107 - £49,845 (pro rata for hours worked)

GKR London is working in exclusive partnership with Stevenage Borough Council in their search for a Senior Estates Surveyor to join their Estates team.

About the Role

They have an exciting senior role in their Estates Team which has recently been restructured.  This key role will play an important part in helping the Head of Estates to support their ambitious Regeneration and Housing Development plans from an Estates perspective. The successful candidate will lead a team to deliver the Estates Asset management strategy and support key corporate priorities.

This role will manage and grow the income generated from the Council’s diverse commercial property portfolio with key objectives to create sustainable rental income and strong retail and business environments to support the success of Stevenage.

The person will also assist in challenging the sustainability of the Council’s property portfolio through active asset management.

A successful candidate for the role is likely to be a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
