Construction and New Store Openings Manager
We are looking for a Construction Manager to join our major franchise restaurant client, to oversee the construction programme and 12-15 new store openings over a six-month period. The role is office based with HQ in Milton Keynes however involves extensive travel to site and suppliers throughout the UK and we’re ideally looking for someone based south of Nottingham and east of the M1 corridor.
Working on a consultancy basis and able to offer three to five days per week, the role covers all aspects of the programme from initial site viability, drawing approval, project costing, tendering and programme management to time and budget, whilst working closely with colleagues across the business to achieve successful openings.
Experienced in restaurant construction, you’ll have experience of building controls specific to restaurant development with the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings as well as co-ordinate external architects and engineers. Able to communicate effectively and with strong project management skills you’re used to managing a busy workload, demonstrating the ability to prioritise and problem solve. Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject you’ll also be qualified to PRINCE Level 2 or equivalent.
