Property Analyst – Hotels – client side.

My client is a fast growing design driven Hospitality business who are looking to expand throughout Europe.

As a result they require an ambitious property analyst to work in a small entrepreneurial property team.

Description

• The Property Analyst is responsible for supporting the Acquisitions Director in the originating both leasehold and freehold deals
• Market research to identify and validate attractive city locations
• Proactively working on the origination and sourcing of investment opportunities across the Europe.
• Leveraging existing network of brokers and in-country agents to source on and off market transactions
• Build relationships with property owners, agents and other professional firms and internally across the business.
• Responsibility for registering the introduction of opportunities and then tracking deals on the Property Tracker
• Responsibility for managing and presenting the Property Tracker at bi-weekly property opportunity review meetings;
• Taking ownership over the property opportunity information pack and financial modelling so ready to present to the investment committee
• Conducting research into potential property opportunities
• Building an appraisal for each property opportunity be they acquisition or lease
• Involvement in transaction execution including due diligence, liaising with brokers and agents, submitting bid letters and agreeing heads of terms

Profile

• 2+ years of commercial real estate investment experience
• Strong financial modelling skills, previous experience with developing and constructing valuation models
• An understanding of the UK and European commercial property market and key value drivers
• Very good attention to detail and numerical skills
• Good business cop-on
• Very strong written/verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively across external parties and internally in the company
• Strong drive and ability to work independently
• Good academic record with relevant post graduate degree
• Willing to travel extensively
