Chief Executive Officer

  • King’s Cross-In joint venture with Argent-2000 homes, 3.4 million square feet of office space, 500,000 square feet of retail and leisure space
  • Stratford-In joint venture with Lendlease-International Quarter London, 4 million square feet of office space, 333 new residential units, GDV £4 billion
  • Mayfield in Manchester-In joint venture with U&I-£1 billion regeneration scheme with 1 million square feet of office space, 1,300 new homes

LCR is seeking a Chief Executive to lead the company through the next phase of its evolution, and to join its Board.

The role

Reports to the Chairman

A pivotal figure at Executive level, providing effective strategic and operational direction of the company, leading a team of over 40 direct employees, developing and articulating a vision for the company

Implement the company’s transition to an exciting new business model designed to boost annual turnover, including building senior relationships with a diverse set of public and private sector stakeholders

Act as the company’s leading Executive for external stakeholders, including presenting the company’s aims and objectives, and building senior relationships with the shareholder and other key public and private sector stakeholders

Act as the interface with Network Rail and the Department of Transport

The candidate

Must have personally led largescale development and regeneration projects coupled with a successful track record in leadership roles gained within the real estate sector

Proven experience of building relationships at the highest levels across a range of both public and private sector stakeholders

The demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the public and private sectors in pursuit of strategic objectives, including the ability to balance business strategy with financial performance and other targets

An appreciation of risk management with a public interest element is necessary

Ideally, a proven track record leading change management

Professional qualification in related property and/or construction discipline

Excellent communication skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders
