Fantastic opportunity for a successful Bid Manager to support Facilities Management department of Global Real Estate consultancy. They will support the business by planning and managing the bid response process and delivering documents in line with the company’s brand.

The focus of this role is to manage the response process and engage with all parts of the business to ensure a professional, compliant and compelling proposal is submitted. The role involves project managing the response and bid writing.

The Bid Manager will also be responsible for the supervision and development of staff and development of good practice within the bid team.

Job Description
Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of the allocated sections of bid submissions;
Planning, writing and coordinating bid responses;
Compiling, updating and maintaining a library of company standard tender documentation (With an FM focus)
Maintaining records relating to submissions and successes;
Build internal and external relationships with individuals associated with the bid process in order to create quality bids;
Identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the process, whilst sharing best practice with the team;
Ensure the quality of the response meets the company standards.

Qualifications
Strong command of both spoken and written English (mandatory).
Degree in a relevant discipline (desirable).

Experience
Direct experience of facilities management technical and tender process
An experienced Bid Writer in Hard and Soft FM service delivery;
Demonstrable project management experience;
Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation through the production of bespoke Client documentation;
Ability to plan and execute bid planning workshops with multiple attendees.

Skills
An enthusiastic, passionate and determined bid professional;
Willing to adapt quickly to the company’s culture and way of working;
Superb business acumen and a proven track record of success, having worked on sizable bids;
Should be a team player and have excellent communications skills;
Work on your own initiative, and to an exceedingly high quality;
Able to work to tight deadlines in high pressure situations;
Skilled in editing copy to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation and ability to edit copy to standard and style;
Skilled to manage delivery through direct reports and colleagues, including technical employees at all levels, bid colleagues, and external suppliers;
Skilled in supervising employees, to include delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performance;
Strong Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Word and PowerPoint formatting skills and Excel numeracy and formula understanding;
