Land Buyer/Manager, Residential Development

West Yorkshire

Permanent position – circa £30,000 - £50,000 plus car, package and bonus

My client is one of the most forward-thinking developers in the housebuilding industry and have put together an amazing set of house types that they are rolling out across West Yorkshire. They build very high-quality homes and have held 5-star status for several years.

The Position

Working closely with the Land Director and existing land team you will be responsible for acquiring land in West Yorkshire and the Yorkshire area. This could be as a Land Buyer or a Land manager dependent upon your experience, you will be –

• Identifying sites that meet the company’s requirements
• Completing site appraisals and assessing sites’ potential for the business
• Negotiating with landowners and agents on sites whilst building up rapport
• Working with internal and external stakeholders
• Working with other departments within the company as required.

The Candidate

In order to be successful in this role experience of buying land in the Yorkshire area with a strong network is essential. As part of the role you will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong drive to succeed.
