Client-Side Design Manager, Property Developer

An excellent career opportunity for a Design Manager to work client side for an International Real estate Property Developer based in Central London to support the Project Delivery team across all development projects within their portfolio that vary from high rise residential towers, apartment schemes and high spec new build hotels across Central London that are embarking pre-construction stages and commencing construction late 2019.

We are looking for candidates with proven Design and Technical Management experience that are either working in Practice on £20m-£100m Residential Development apartment schemes. Experience of delivering new build hotels is desirable but not essential.

In this role, you will be working on live development projects from stage 3-4 design and managing and coordinating design team through the development and construction cycle up to Practical completion of the projects. You will advise on technical and design drawings and submissions , creating viable design and technical solutions when issues arise during pre-construction and construction. You will ensure that design quality is not compromised and all employer requirements are adhered by the Contractor and JCT contract.

Candidates with a background working for a Property Developer or Central London House builder in a Design/Technical Coordinator, Design Manager, or Project Architect, Associate from Practice with 5-10 years residential development experience in London is relevant for this appointment.
