Corporate Real Estate Surveyor/Senior Surveyor - Bristol

A leading global property consultancy has instructed Beach Baker to recruit a chartered surveyor to join a leading corporate team based in Bristol. The successful candidate will be MRICS qualified and ideally have estate management experience working for a corporate, corporate real estate team within a property consultancy, or have other relevant commercial portfolio management experience.

The responsibilities of the role will include providing an effective day-to-day estate management of a number of properties throughout the South West/South Wales region. The estate is a mixture of retail and offices and predominantly leasehold interests but include operational and non-operational, vacant and sub-tenanted properties.

Your primary aim when managing the estate is to try and keep outgoing costs to a minimum, maintain business continuity, manage risk and take full responsibility of critical lease event dates. Day to day activities comprise routine client liaison/correspondence with the Head of Property, facilities managers, the in-house group legal team, landlord's and their managing agents, tenants and other third parties. Other duties will include assisting agents with the disposal of properties, coordinate closures/non renewals of lease, liaising and agreeing strategy with the team on L&T and building surveying work.
