Graduate Surveyor - South Yorkshire up to £25,000 Dependant on Experience

Due to growth and expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate General Practice Surveyor to join an well-established Consultancy in South Yorkshire You will primarily be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day Property Management and Agency of their large property portfolio, whilst working towards obtaining Chartered Status as a commercial surveyor.

Your new role
Day-to day duties will include assistance with co-ordinating external professional consultants on rates and arrears mitigation strategies, dilapidations, third-party recharging and lease events - to include rent reviews, lease renewals and terminations. In addition, assistance in the implementation of all agency matters on the portfolio, including liaison with agents, attending monthly agency update meetings, implementing budgeted marketing strategy and facilitating the negotiation & completion of programmed lettings and sales. Responsibility for reporting deals internally as well as assisting in the drafting, implementation and updating of external marketing collateral.

Assist with and undertake the work involved with day to day agency of an extensive and mixed portfolio of commercial property instructions located throughout Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The role will involve dealing with enquiries, carrying out viewings, inspecting properties and advising clients appropriately. The client base includes a varied mix of pension funds, property companies, developers and high net worth individuals. Your role may also require you to pitch for and source new instructions and utilise any market contacts to do this.

What you'll need to succeed
This organisation are looking for a logical/strategic thinker with a Degree in Commercial Real Estate or other RICS Accredited Built-Environment / Property discipline and 1 years minimum Prior work-experience in a commercial real estate organisation, you will have an understanding of Landlord & Tenant and commercial agency relationships.
