Mid Sussex District Council is growing its Estates team to meet the new challenges in Local Government.  The Council is a dynamic, forward thinking local authority that takes a proactive and innovative approach to property investment, management, development and major projects. Due to an increasing property portfolio, together with a growing number of major projects, we are expanding our property team’s expertise and capacity, resulting in a number of new roles.

Working for MSDC presents an opportunity to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team and be involved in some unusual and significant property work.  This includes major town centre development/revitalisation/strategy work, such as projects and developments arising due to the current major schemes in Burgess Hill to deliver in the region of 3500 new homes and major new town centre retail development.  Additionally the team carries out a wide range of property and asset management activities

Development Surveyor (COTD973) (initial 2 year fixed term contract)

We are looking for a highly motivated Development Surveyor to be part of the team delivering a range of high profile projects.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects to time and budget working within multi-disciplinary teams.

Relocation expenses may be paid where appropriate and personal and professional training opportunities are regularly available.
