Due to an internal move, an exciting strategic role has come up working for one of London’s biggest landlords.  The position is extremely varied working closely with asset managers and leasing teams to deliver performance analysis, in order to facilitate decision making and drive short and long term performance of the portfolio. This role is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and creative Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to move client side and join a sought after landlord to progress quickly into asset management. 

Responsibilities: 

• Management of the valuation process with external valuers; leading on a number of valuation mandates

• Guiding the asset management in the prioritisation of work to maximise returns

• Appraisal of asset management initiatives 

• Supporting on the analysis of developments 

• Providing analytical support on lettings, lease renewals and rent reviews 

• Assisting in the preparation of annual forecasting and cash flow analysis 

• Working with portfolio analysis team to monitor performance, benchmarking against market indices

• Providing analysis to support internal and external reporting 

• Providing insight to help drive the portfolio strategy portfolio strategy

 

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent (2:1 or above) and RICS qualified

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Argus Investor

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ideally Central London Office experience 

• Strong commercial acumen, with a good understanding of the property sector 

• Ability to produce well thought through, clearly laid out and expressed schedules and papers

• Ability to communicate confidently with professionals

• Comfortable working on a “big picture” or highly detailed basis
