Quantity Surveyor
Based: London
Our client is an established Property Development Company currently working in the construction industry who set the standard with high-quality developments.
They are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on various residential & mixed-use schemes in London and the South East. The projects are mid/high spec units with elements of commercial space totalling build value exceeding £100M.
Ideally, you will have a proven track record in procurement & package management. The role of will expose you to running multiple package s- procurement, cost control, subcontractor management and closing final accounts would all form part of your remit. Experience having worked on RC Frame schemes would be advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will:
• Possess experience working in the UK either with a Main Contractor or Developer
• Manage all aspects of the subcontracting process
• Understand & manage subcontractor contractual risk
• Have 5 + years of construction experience
• Have experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high spec residential projects
• Have a good understanding of building technology and construction processes
• Possess accurate forecasting and cost planning within residential projects
• Experience of preparing subcontract tender packages, evaluations & comparisons
