We are working with a well-known housebuilder based in the Leeds area that are changing the company focus from volume to quality. They are making changes within the business to push to improve their 5-star status including working hard to attract new talent!

This housebuilder has a talented and experienced Technical team in place that all get on well together and now they are looking to recruit a like-minded individual to join as a layout designer.

As part of this role you will be working in the Technical team and be responsible for:

• Production of presentation drawings for internal review and management meetings.
• Working with the land & planning teams to review existing outline planning information to produce constraints and opportunities plans and initial block structure plans.
• Production of title plan / site overlays and land contract plans.
• Pre-application planning submissions, planning applications and obtaining approvals.
• Monitor the progress of planning applications and subsequent release of planning conditions.

In order to be successfully in your application, you will need to have extensive experience of producing residential layout designs, overlays, title plans etc.

It is preferably that you will have some experience working for/with a housebuilder previously though each application will be considered individually.
