We have a fantastic opportunity for a committed Development Surveyor / Lead Development Surveyor to join our team. You will be based primarily in Bury St Edmunds but will also be required to work at the council offices in Mildenhall.  This role requires travel across West Suffolk, so a full driving licence and access to your own transport is essential. In return you will receive a starting salary £32,878 - £50,600 per annum depending on experience plus essential car user allowance and excellent pension scheme.

The Development Surveyor role:

We are seeking an MRICS-qualified Surveyor (Commercial Practice or Planning and Development) to take a leading role in a multi-disciplinary team, including acquisitions and bringing forward development across a highly diverse variety of land and property types.

What are we looking for in our Development Surveyor:

- MRICS-qualified

- A strong political intelligence and an understanding of the dynamic between public and private sectors

- Personality, team fit and drive are as important as experience

- We will consider applications from newly qualified through to highly experienced property professionals

- You will be joining a high-profile, outward facing team so the ability to build effective working relationships and excellent communication skills are essential
