Responsibilities will include:

  • Focus on Europe - UK, France, Benelux, Spain, Italy and Poland
  • Assist in transaction due diligence for acquisitions made on the client's behalf
  • Review legal, technical, environmental and financial due diligence
  • On-board newly acquired assets
  • Assist in managing the property manager (CBRE) and obtain updates on the assets
  • Accompany Director of Asset Management on site visits
  • Form relationships with tenants
  • Interact frequently with client's London-based team
  • Input into development of business plans and annual budgets
  • Assist in disposing of assets
  • Analyse and review performance of assets
  • Assist with lease negotiations; modelling lease re-gear opportunities, identifying opportunities to add value
  • Develop and deploy detailed knowledge of local markets, supply-demand dynamics, investment pricing, rental rates across Europe etc

Experience/Qualities Required

  • Degree educated (2:1 minimum) in a relevant subject
  • Entitled to live and work in the UK without a visa
  • Experience of working with some European assets (ideally)
  • Italian speaker (ideally)
  • 2-3 years' experience in real estate asset management or investment
  • Some logistics experience (ideally)
  • Strong technical skills, builds complex cash flows/forecast models from scratch (will be tested)
  • Demonstrable interest in logistics and development
  • Intelligent and highly motivated with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills and communication ability (written & verbal)
  • Team player, able to work with the Group's other European teams within a flat structure
  • Able to understand Group's operating model & how this adapts to opportunities across Europe
  • Keen to learn/specialise in Logistics
  • Energetic, practical and commercial.
