One of the worlds largest and established property companies i seeking a Portfolio Analyst in London to work on a large central London Office Portfolio worth into the £Billions.

Key Attributes:

  • 1-3 years PQE / RICS
  • Will currnelty be in a Central London Investment, Central London Capital Markets, or Development teammwithin an estalished Property Consultancy in London
  • Keen to develope excellent modelling skills - Excel and ARGUS
  • Ambitious, driven, resilient, able to work under pressure and at pace
  • Must understand the underlying real estate as well as the numbers
  • Great potential for accelerated promotion and future opportunities within other parts of the business for the sharpest, brightest candidates

Additional duties:

  • Work closely with asset and development managers to develop, monitor and maintain property underwriting models
  • Perform complex financial analysis and valuations
  • Model impacts of leasing, operating and capital expenditure decisions on business returns
  • Project financial control and tracking of actuals to budgets and forecasts
  • Facilitate the preparation of material for the quarterly valuation process
  • Maintain industry data / summarize publicly available information on a regular basis
  • Coordinate necessary research to support investment case.

Key experience

  • Good finance or related degree from leading UniversitY
  • 1-3 years PQE / RICS
  • Working knowledge of Argus (Developer & DCF) software
  • Strong analytical financial modelling and valuation skills, ideally with a real estate/ corporate focus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical skills with advance modelling capabilities
  • Project planning and self-management skills
  • Strong personality, ability to interact across cultures/geographies
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), also an excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint
