European Asset Manager- Leading Investment Manager

Leading global private equity investment manager, who have an unsurpassed track record investing in real estate are looking for a bright and credible Asset Manager. The business is at an exciting stage in its evolution, having successfully raised a new European value add fund and with further fund raising initiatives well advanced.

They are now seeking an Asset Manager / Senior Analyst to support the London based team, predominantly working on their German portfolio, with some involvement in France and other countries too. Candidates need between 18 months to 4 years Real Estate experience, as the role is to support a more senior Asset Manager.

The asset management role is extremely broad and candidates will be involved in all parts of a projects life cycle; from interacting with deal teams at acquisition, undertaking due diligence and business plan formation, having responsibility for delivering business plans for a portfolio across mainland Europe (especially in Germany) and assisting with the development and execution of exit strategies. At all stages, working collaboratively with colleagues from the origination and finance teams.

We are keen to speak to individuals who have the presence and relationship skills to manage third party asset managers, ensuring their continued focus on delivering strategic business objectives. Successful candidates will be able to combine commercial acumen with numeracy and communicate the interaction of both to a high standard. 

Requirements:

• Fluency in German is essential
• Circa 18 months to 3 years industry experience, with recent experience in an Asset Management team.
• Solid analytical skills and good financial modelling knowledge
• Commercial real estate experience
