Business Development / Accounts Executive 

A very well-funded, ambitious proptech firm, set on revolutionising property management, is now hiring a Business Development / Accounts Executive to join their team in Central London. Since its inception, this cutting-edge startup has attracted landlords and developers alike. The sales team need a bright, hardworking, and energetic individual to come onboard and be instrumental in the continued growth of the firm. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will establish each relationship with new clients, before taking them all the way through the onboarding process and maintaining those strong business ties; this opportunity offers unrivalled exposure to all facets of sales.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Prospecting and qualifying potential clients based upon a rich understanding of the product – offering services that solve the client’s known and unknown problems
  • Build and take full ownership of your own pipeline, identifying opportunities in pre-existing and new markets
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the on-boarding process, enabling clients to derive maximum value from the firm
  • Update and refine the onboarding process, tracking customer metrics and ensuring adoption of the service is consistently increasing whilst ensuring the customer experience is equally improving
  • Create and action excellent marketing materials
  • Constantly build upon industry knowledge in a fast-growing market, becoming an industry leader and expert in your own right

If you would like to be a part of this team, here’s a little bit of what they’re looking for:

  • 2+ years in business development, account management, or a relevant sales role – ideally B2B or B2C.
  • Track record of securing new business, negotiating, and qualifying prospective clients
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial individual, keen to take the initiative, who has the mindset to meet and beat targets – comfortably speaking to senior management and clients alike
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Experience in real estate is preferable, ideally someone with a contact book filled with landlords and developers
