Senior Land Manager, High-Quality, Traditional Housebuilding, M4 Corridor, South East

About the Client:

My client is well known, privately owned housebuilder operating across the Home Counties. They build a high-quality mid/upper-mid market product that appeals to the discerning customer. They are open to acquiring sites both on a conditional and unconditional basis, from 30 – 300 units. As a highly entrepreneurial business they are very open to managed risk, looking for the angle on sites that others may have missed. The business is very well capitalised and keen to acquire sites that fit their criteria.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for identifying, leading the assessment of and securing high-quality sites. You will be expected to secure 2 – 3 sites per annum along the M4 corridor, including Berkshire, South Bucks/Oxfordshire and the western parts of Hertfordshire/outer West London. The business has in-house planning capability and administrative support and you will be given all the backup required to undertake your role effectively.

Personal Requirements:

You are an experienced land professional (five years +) who would like to work for a business where you will be given the freedom to undertake your role to the best of your ability. You are an outstanding communicator and relationship builder with an extremely strong contact network. You can hit the ground running and have a solid understanding of the geographical patch. Key personal attributes are team player, dynamic, entrepreneurial, will to win with a strong moral compass. You are ambitious and the opportunity for career progression is strong.
