Assistant Planner - The Role

Are you an Assistant Planner with either public or private sector experience who wants to work for one of the leading planning consultancies in London, progress through the ranks and have the opportunity to regularly work on large-scale strategic projects?

A national consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Planner to join their team, assisting senior members of staff on a range of complex applications. On a daily basis you will be working closely with those in your team, researching site history or policies of the borough before working alongside Directors in the drafting and submission of complex planning applications. You will attend site visits and meetings with the local authorities during the process in order to reach a positive decision from the council.

About You

Ideally you will have experience within the private sector however, local authority experience will also be considered, and you should be working towards your APC submission to become a member of the RTPI. You should have a planning related degree and a proven track record of obtaining solid grades throughout your education.
