Asset Manager – Start-Up – contract

Our client has recently launched a unique product and platform which is bringing flexible real estate solution to traditional part of the market.  We are looking for a hungry, commercial Landlord and Tenant or Estates or Asset Manager to drive forward this programme and play a crucial role in the success of this new product. 

There is an opportunity here for the successful candidate to grow with the organisation and permanent roles are available but this role for now is being recruited on a 12 month fixed term contract.  You will need to be prepared to work hard in an environment where the pace is fast.  Key to the role is:-

• Identifying under-utilised property and space suitable for the programme
• Run due diligence exercise and deliver property and portfolio cashflow analysis to determine property suitability
• Develop and implement asset management initiatives to increase utilisation of open space
• Develop and deliver a regional and national letting strategy to target new tenants with multiple space requirements
• Management of project work streams to successfully on-board new space into the programme
• Develop and maintain information systems to support the programme and financial reporting
• Analysis and assess project performance, capacity and demand data to inform changes to project plans

Candidates will need to be RICS Chartered Surveyor and highly commercial, driven and a self-starter.  You will have property estates, rents, L&T and asset management knowledge and experience.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels is key.  A commercial approach, enthusiasm and flexibility are traits also being sought.  This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months with the real potential of permanent roles being available in this area or other Asset management teams in the business.
