Job Details
Being a Project/Development Manager at a Developer has lots of advantages over consultancy. You can use your years of experience where you flitted from project to project, but this time to make sure that the whole project is covered from start to finish.
You'd have more autonomy and kudos within the project - it's your project to run, and this time the consultants report to you.
And the financial rewards are far greater - getting a project delivered on time and on budget means you'll get a hefty bonus.
Working alongside the Acquisitions team as they take everything up to planning, then looking after the due diligence, tendering and then when the work gets underway you watch and manage it through to handover.
And there are some great projects on the way, lots of high-rise new-builds, some student accommodation (a recession-proof sector and a booming one too!) and even some joint ventures with other developers.
