Job Details
A fantastic opportunity to join a developer that is working on regeneration project which is not only unique and varied in its aim, it will also be the largest of its kind in Europe.
This will be perfect for someone who wants to commit to a project that values regeneration, culture and can use their technical skill set as an experience QS to really add quantifiable value every day.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Related courses
2. Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure Projects, such as Highway, Bridge or complex project more than £5M worth.
3. Experience from inception to completion, Design Cost Brief, Building Cost Plan, Value Engineering/Cost Saving exercise, Procurement/Tender, Contract Administration, Commercial Management to Handover.
4. Involvement in tender analysis and reports, payment notification, variation order/change management, final account, access delay claim, cost and budget reporting etc.
5. Previous contract experience, NEC, JCT, ICC or any other bespoke contract. Able to demonstrate appreciation of contract obligation either from Contractor's /Client's perspective.
6. Previous experience of leading and motivating a small team of trainee/graduate/Ass QS/QS
