Job Details
A well-established site located in the East Mid-lands require an experienced site operations manager to join their forever expanding team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the development and implementation of a clear Operational plan to support the factory
- Ensure the development of tactical steps to pursue and implement targeted goals and objectives to secure required outcomes
- Lead and develop a high performing Operational Plant and team to ensure critical business metrics are met, for example, OEE, TRIR, service levels, cost per unit, Quality and Capex expenditure to support growth.
- Ensure quality customer service delivery and meeting defined essential performance indicators while driving continuous improvement to all service-related matters.
- Research and anticipate the future of the business and investigate fundamental investment implications and make investment recommendations
- Define and support the development of the teams by identifying and sharing learning through a coaching and mentoring approach
Operational:
- Secure and oversee the daily operation of the factory
- Monitor and manage the factory operational budget, ensure optimum performance and financial growth.
- Develop the operation and teams to meet financial, efficiency and effectiveness targets through a continuous improvement approach.
- Deliver improving financial performance for the operation, ensuring the site meets budget commitments.
