• Job Title – Director of Facilities Management – Commercial Property Sector

Our client is a niche property asset management business that provides the full scope of property and facilities management services to owners and investors of commercial property.  They now manage 14 clients, looking after a portfolio of commercial properties, predominantly offices or offices with ground and basement floor retail, located in Central London and in all of the main regional cities from Bristol to Edinburgh.  They now manage approximately 30 multi-let buildings & collect approximately £80M in rent and manage £10M of service charges each year.


Key Criteria

• Experience in leading FM Services nationally

• Good communicator and influencer – used to dealing with senior management – clients, occupiers, service providers, consultants, other professionals (accountants/surveyors etc)

• Experience in delivering business-critical programmes

• Used to managing and developing teams to deliver a quality and customer-focussed service

• Experience in mobilising new instructions with particular focus on large multi-let offices

• Identifying cost savings and efficiencies across the managed portfolio 

• Experience in initiating and managing Capital Projects in M&E and Fabric

The Director of FM will be expected to undertake day to day management of a selection of properties as well as assisting in the running of the business and mobilising new instructions, working alongside the Head of FM and closely with the Managing Director.
