Your new company
A public sector local authority are looking to recruit a Repairs Planner.

Your new role
-37 hours Monday to Friday to cover 3 month sick cover.
-To carry out efficient and effective service scheduling of repairs
-To organise repairs appointments to ensure optimal use of the trades team resource
-To work with mangers to ensure that repairs operatives fully utilise the mobile working solution to provide timely and accurate progress planning information
-To liaise with customers to ensure they are fully informed of any operational changes required in order to complete the requested repair
-Ensure that all repair activity information is entered onto the computer system in a timely and accurate manner
-To arrange and co-ordinate pre and post inspections and record the results
-To co-ordinate and conduct a program of customer satisfaction surveys
-To complete monitoring and performance reports as requested
-To provide clerical and administrative support for the repairs and maintenance service

-To undertake such other duties, commensurate with this level as may be assigned from time to time

What you'll need to succeed
The post involves the scheduling of repairs and organising repairs appointments in an efficient and effective manner to ensure optimal use of the Trades team. You must possess excellent communication and ICT skills together with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines. A flexible approach is essential as you will be part of a wider team rota to ensure continuous service delivery.
