Assistant Director – Project Delivery
Surrey County Council
Location: Kingston-upon-Thames
Salary: up to £98,000 per annum

Our Assistant Director - Project Delivery, is charged with transforming the way Surrey County Council operates through better use of land and property assets, so that we can deliver the great service to residents we’ve set out in our Community Vision for Surrey by 2030.

Reporting to the Director of Land and Property, this role is responsible for the delivery of the Council’s Capital Programme and Major Projects, in line with the Council’s Asset and Place Strategy, affecting an asset portfolio of c.£1.2 billion. The post holder will be responsible for driving the delivery of these projects and ensuring successful completion, budgetary management and compliance. They will provide expert professional advice to the Council’s Leadership Team and Members and ensure that the processes and programmes for delivering projects are fit for purpose, achieve the Council’s objectives and contributing to the delivery of excellent service and to providing the Council with income.
