Building Surveyor - Devon

Opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join one of the leading providers of social housing in Devon

Your new company
As a Building Surveyor you will be working for one of the leading providers of social housing in Devon. You will be working on the outskirts of Plymouth, living on the boarders of the Dartmoor National Park and partnering with tenants based in the immediate Plymouth region.

Your new role
Joining as a Building Surveyor, you will be carrying out a wide variety of technical duties utilising your entire skill-set. These range from inspection of properties, analysis of defects and reporting on risks identified from potential issues in building fabric. Your role will also involve the management and specification of bespoke building projects, from outline proposals through to the tender process and post construction sign-off.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in your new role, you will need to have knowledge and experience around managing CDM regulations, control of asbestos and knowledge on carrying out full design and specification of a building project. In order to be considered for this position, you must have professional membership - MRICS.
