Associate Director of Planning - The Role

Are you an Associate Director and want to be given more responsibility and the chance to lead an office of Planners in the future? Do you have an idea and path which you would like to follow but feel that external pressures and expectations are stopping you from doing so?

Macdonald & Company are delighted to be working with boutique Planning consultancy as they seek to appoint an Associate Director in their London office. You will be working closely with the lead Partner and be put on a trajectory to swiftly make the step up to senior level and be the lead Partner in the office. The role is ideally split between business development, managing the team and delivering solid planning work to a range of existing clients that remain loyal to the company.

About You

The ideal individual will have 8 years or more experience, preferably within the private sector alongside a proven track record in working on large-scale projects for clients. You will need to have a solid understanding of the UK planning system and be confident in formulating sound planning arguments and delivering expert advice on a daily basis.

Your interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial flair will also assist with growing the business as they look to become a leading name across the south east.

The Company

The company is a partnership that retains one of their key selling points - a family vibe! They work together and push the company forward as a whole across all of their offices. They offer flexible working, handsome remuneration packages and that ever elusive work-life balance!
