Property Manager - Artists’ Studios and Educational Charity
West London
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 p/a, 22 days holiday p/a plus bank holidays
Full time, permanent post.

Association for the Cultural Advancement of Visual Arts (ACAVA) is a leading artists’ studio provider, arts organisation and educational charity that operates a portfolio of 20 buildings, providing studios for almost 500 artists, mostly in London, but also in Essex and Stoke-on-Trent. We also have 5 purpose built live/work apartments.
ACAVA's charitable purpose is delivered through its public facing educational programmes designed to engage communities by enabling them to create visual art and culture. We regularly work with external partners to provide artistic opportunities to diverse communities. www.acava.org
The Property Manager role includes:
· Supporting the provision of safe and fit for purpose artists’ studio workspaces and related facilities across our portfolio
· Managing a planned programme of regular maintenance and repair works to ensure that our properties are in good condition and meet the required health and safety and building control standards.
· Project managing and overseeing works programmes and keeping strict control of costs.
· Communicating and developing excellent working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including artists, contractors and suppliers.
You will have proven and successful experience of facilities and/or building management of multiple occupancy sites, ideally over a wide geographical area. You will have up to date practical knowledge of Health and Safety and experience of planning, costing and implementing efficient maintenance plans.
You will be well organised, financially astute, able to work independently and have a full, clean UK driving licence. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
