Quantity Surveyor - Timber Frame - Oxfordshire

A top 20 UK developer is now looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Oxfordshire based office. The role offers a competitive package of up to £54k with the potential to progress for the right candidate.

They provide high quality homes across the UK with a reputation spanning over 40 years. They have won several awards for their work and have built a reputation in producing developments which are sympathetic to their surroundings. This role will be focusing on the delivery of Timber Frame projects for their affordable homes, private, residential and commercial clients. 

Role & Responsibilities

- Deliver projects to the correct price and specification and in line with the programme requirements 
- Maintain contact with the customer throughout the project lifespan
- Provide pre-contract support on terms and conditions
- Negotiating, agreeing and recording formal contracts and warranties with all customers
- Manage, define and articulate brief with the customer and internal supply chain
- Prepare subcontract tender information and take a lead role in negotiating and appointing the required sub-contractors
- Undertake the preparation of final accounts

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager within the house building sector 
- Experienced in Timber Frame buildings 
- Excellent client care skills 
- Commercial acumen

- Up to £45,000 + 5% – 10% bonus + Car Allowance (£4500) or Company Car
