We are currently working with a development company, with an extraordinary history and reputation for delivery and an entrepreneurial approach to business. For the past three years they have been on a journey of change and during this time have looked at their internal structure and made some significant senior hires.
As part of this journey our client is continuing to bolster their strategic land and regeneration team and looking to recruit a Development Director. The key purpose for this role is to identify, secure and lead on high value / complex development opportunities. This role is accountable for the development from acquisition to disposal including setting the strategy, legal, financial, placemaking and ensuring that the vision is delivered through to asset disposal or transfer.
To be considered you will have:
- A demonstrable track record of land acquisition within the residential market, with either a developer or agent.
- Experience of complex residential / mixed use developments.
- A proven track record in delivery of relevant development opportunities, managing all aspects of acquisition, development, leasing and disposal.
- A track record of successfully leading multidisciplined teams.
- Strong professional network within London and the South East.
- A relevant degree and ideally chartered MRICS or MRTPI
