Retail Leasing Manager - Iconic Scheme

Madison Berkeley are thrilled to be working with one of London’s most ambitious development companies. Due to expansion, they are seeking an experienced Retail Leasing Manager to work specifically on one of the most significant urban development projects in the capital. This role will help shape and deliver the retail and F&B offering across the scheme, with the support of the existing team.  The role involves helping define the strategy, having a strong input into place making, etc and then being able to deliver the right tenant mix for this very vibrant and high profile area. Candidates need a strong track record in the London Leasing market, and must have both retail and F&B expertise.

Requirements

• Passionate about retail and creating ‘retail spaces’ and will align themselves with the ongoing place making ambitions for the estate and combine this with a strong understanding of the sector and will be recognised as a leader in this specialist field.
• MRICS qualified or equivalent professional experience ideally gained in a property company or retail business
• Strong retail market profile within Central London
• Experience and strategic views on future and innovation in the retail sectors.
• Extensive network of relationships across retail, F & B and leisure sectors.
• Demonstrable experience of successfully building relationships with high profile customers and internal stakeholders.
• A proven track record of identifying opportunities to add value and executing on transactions to deliver against targets of asset financial outperformance.
• Awareness of occupier needs and market trends.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
