Contracts Manager to cover North & Scotland

Your new company

You will be working with a main contractor within the interior fit-out sector with prestigious clients across the UK & Ireland.

The company are going through a period of growth and expansion of their capabilities, so this is a very exciting time to be join the business.

Based in York but with operatives based remotely they are looking for an experienced contracts manager to cover their expanding portfolio in the North & Scotland.

Your new role

As contracts manager you will oversee multiple projects primarily focused on fast-track retail fit-outs.

You will hold overall responsibility for the commercial and operational performance for the portfolio of projects under your remit.

The company have an excellent record of developing and progressing their team members. As contracts manager you will play a key role in this through people management. This will involve extensive KPI management with your direct reports on a regular basis.

With repeat business at the core of the company client relationship building will be key aspect of this role.

As the company are currently expanding inputs into the strategic direction of the business and the ability to implement change will also be expected.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have extensive experience of multi-project management in a similar, fast-paced environment.

With the geographically dispersed nature of the area you will be covering flexibility and the ability to effectively organise your own diary will be essential.

Your verbal and written communication must be concise and effective in order to enable fantastic working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

As a remote worker you will have to be self-motivated and be able to make key decisions quickly and autonomously on a regular basis.
