Project Manager – Development – Affordable Housing
Excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Development team within a leading Housing Association.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual who wants to play an instrumental role in an organisation’s ambitious growth plans and be part of a highly successful team.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of residential development projects across all stages, from identification and sites feasibility to handover and the final completion of the Certificate of Making Good Defects.
You will collaborate closely with the Development and the Commercial teams to effectively support the project delivery, taking responsibility for the project deadlines, cost, quality and safety across the assigned portfolio, ensuring that Homes England funding requirements as well as planning and regulatory requirements are met.
You will appoint and manage external consultants/contractors and services where appropriate and lead the design meetings and the planning process, taking responsibility for the specification compliance and ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders. You will be accountable for the quality and the Value for Money of the product following the value engineering and the value creation principles.
An ideal candidate with have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and will be a self-starter. You will be an effective communicator and collaborator and will have a recent proven track record of success working in a similar role and managing teams. You will have an extensive experience working in compliance with Homes England requirements, IMS procedures and development policies. You will also have a degree level qualification in Project Management, training in IOSH, experience using Proval and a good technical understanding of project design.
